First, a message to fans from San Diego Legion ownership team...
Dear Legion Fans & Community Partners,
Much like you, San Diego Legion is disappointed that the 2020 Major League Rugby season was cut short due to the global COVID-19 crisis. However, we believe it’s the best decision for the health and safety of our players, fans, and the San Diego community.
Let us take a moment to recap an unforgettable, albeit short-lived, 2020 season. When our time on the pitch came to a halt, San Diego Legion was on top of the MLR table with a perfect 5-0 record. Our players and coaches were performing at the top level, and our fans and sponsors were supporting rugby in San Diego more than ever before. Now, as we shift focus to next year, we are committed to coming back in 2021 even stronger.
During this extended off-season, we will share regular updates about Legion players as well as develop new promotions and initiatives for our fans and season ticket holders. Season ticket holders
Here are the different options available to season ticket holders via our ticket exchange program:
- Season ticket holders may opt-in to receive a prorated credit toward their 2021 season ticket package.
- Season ticket holders may opt-in to receive a prorated credit for merchandise sold exclusively on sdlegion.com.
Any accounts with credits for complimentary tickets will be substituted for tickets to San Diego Legion’s 2021 Home Opener (exact date TBD).
Centurion and Founders Club members will receive a prorated credit towards their 2021 memberships.
Single-game tickets
For fans who purchased single game tickets for one of the canceled 2020 matches (March 22, April 5, May 3, May 25), here are the different options via our ticket exchange program.
- Single game ticket buyers may opt-in to receive credit(s) for 2021 single game tickets.
- Single game ticket buyers may opt-in to receive credit(s) merchandise sold exclusively on sdlegion.com.
All complimentary tickets (i.e. San Diego Blood Bank partnership, ticket giveaways) for 2020 canceled matches will be exchanged for a general admission ticket to San Diego Legion’s 2021 Home Opener (exact date TBD).
Please contact tickets@sdlegion.com by May 11, 2020 and notify us with your selection. After this date, any unclaimed tickets from the 2020 season will automatically become credits for 2021 regular season tickets.
