Legacy Laces Awarded Qualcomm Foundation Grant for Kick-It Kits San Diego Legion to Support Distribution Efforts SAN DIEGO, CA (Dec. 3, 2020) – Legacy Laces, a local nonprofit dedicated to getting gear to kids who are sidelined from sports, was awarded a $10,000 grant by Qualcomm Foundation. The funds were given as part of the company’s annual employee pitch competition where Legacy Laces was one of 10 finalists selected from more than 70 non-profit organizations nominated by employees. Trust Restaurant Group (TRG) Executive Pastry Chef Jeremy Harville invented two San Diego Legion-inspired ice cream flavors to celebrate the local Major League Rugby team.
