Major League Rugby cancels the remaining 2020 season, turns attention to 2021

Thank you to all of our fans for your support this season. We are terribly disappointed to share news that MLR has cancelled the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 virus. The safety of our fans, staff and players is our utmost priority.

At a later date, we will announce more information on our ticket exchange program. Stay tuned for updates on social media, our website and email newsletters.

Additionally, we’re looking forward to our first MLR 2020: Virtual match on Saturday, March 21. Learn more and how you can tune-in here

Let’s not forget there’s one silver lining in all of this: Your San Diego Legion ended the 2020 season 5-0 at the top of the MLR table. Look for us back in the same spot in 2021! For now, stay safe and stay Legion strong. We’ll see you back at Torero Stadium next season.
