Will Hooley hails from Cambridge England. Hooley started playing rugby at the young age of 5 years old and holds a wealth of rugby experience over the years. Will currently represents the USA for the Men's XV aside and hold 15 international caps. He qualifies to represent the USA from this Grandmother who is American. Will was part of the Northampton Saints squad who has a successful 2013-2014 campaign winning the Aviva Premiership and European Amlin Challenge Cup.
In 2016, Will was part of the winning team of the Aviva A League with the Exeter Chiefs. Following that win, he was awarded Community Player of the Year with the Exeter Chiefs in 2017 for his services to rugby and the community. Following the successful 2017 campaign with the Exeter Chiefs, winning the Aviva Premiership. Most recently, Will was co-captain for the Bedford Blues in 2020 and helped the Saracens team win the RFU Championship in 2021. We are thrilled to have Will Hooley join the San Diego Legion for the 2022 MLR season.
