Dominick Iacovino

Hometown local Dominick Iacovino was selected in the 2021 Major League Rugby draft out of Grand Canyon University to the San Diego Legion. Dom started playing rugby his junior year of high school in Oceanside, California. He quickly fell in love with the sport and decided to quit football and dedicate fulltime to Rugby. Dom had a successful high school run, captaining the Rhinos Rugby Academy his senior year, leading the U18 to a socal Championship. Following high school, Dom took his rugby talent and academics to Grand Canyon University. Following his collegiate career, Dom entered into the 2021 MLR draft and was selected by the San Diego Legion. We are thrilled to have Dom join the San Diego Legion in 2022 and excited to see what he brings.
