As we remember our exciting, undefeated 2020 Major League Rugby season, the San Diego Legion continues preparing for 2021 and announcing its much-anticipated roster. This week, we’re thrilled to confirm the returns of Nathan Sylvia and Tevita Tameilau.
Nathan Sylvia, a Cal Poly graduate and Collegiate all-American will return for his fourth season with SD Legion. Nathan is a passionate advocate for the growth of the sport via his involvement in coaching community rugby. On the field, he is a skilled tight head prop with the ability to use his strength and power to control his opposition in the front row.
Tevita Tameilau will return with his international experience and powerful shoulders to the SD Legion pack. The USA Eagle No. 475 has earned 15 test caps as an eagle since his debut in 2016. He was also a member of the extended squad for the Rugby World Cup 2019. With strength, aggression, and the capability to be extremely versatile, Tevita will be an absolute threat to any opposition.
