Missing from this week’s roster:
Chris Robshaw is still serving his disciplinary sanction. We expect him to be back on the field later this season for week four of MLR 2021 versus Houston SaberCats.
Nate Augspurger, Dean Muir and Josh Thiel are not available for this game due to lower-leg injuries.
Leading the Pack:
Former USA Eagle captain, Peter Malcolm will lead the pack this weekend as Vice-Captain. Pete’s never stop, work rate engine is a valued asset in a leader who prides himself on leading by example. We are excited to see Pete and the rest of the pack this week, do what they do best.
Back in the Line-up & Debutant Starters:
Captain Joe Pietersen is back in the line-up at #10 after recovering from a lower leg injury in preseason.
Carlo De Nysschen, Bjorn Basson, Santiago Iglesias will make their first career starts for the San Diego Legion this weekend.
Last weekend, Carlo de Nysschen, Cam Clark, Santiago Iglesias, Chris Baumann, Cronan Gleeson, Cecil Afrika, and Travis Larsen all made their debut for the Legion. You can expect to see them back again this week versus Austin Gilgronis!

Selection decisions were made based around last weekend’s performance individually and collectively as well as best team suited to accomplish our goal this weekend v. Austin.
